Explored new algorithms for physical based rendering:
- Project lead and main developer of Intel’s Open Path Guiding Library
- Development of an in-house SYCL-based real-time renderer that runs on Intel’s ARC GPUs, including a Hydra delegate to connect the renderer to the USD ecosystem (e.g., Houdini viewport)
- Research and development of new algorithms for professional physical-based rendering (e.g., path guiding, volume rendering, importance sampling
- Supervision of internal and external research collaborations (e.g., Charles University in Prague, KIT Karlsruhe, ETH Zurich)
- Communicating with industry partners working in professional rendering to identify and work on open challenges in production.
